Ace Frehley aka Paul Daniel Frehley, born April 27 1951 in Brooklyn, New York City. His father was an exellent classical pianist. Got an electrical guitar from his father for his 14th birthday.

Joined the band in 1973 and was a permament and very important member until musical differences and personal problems forced him out in 1982. Well known for his alcoholism.

Ace returned in 1996 and was a hired gun until the Farewell Tour was over in 2001.

He is separated from Jeanette and has a daughter, Monique.
